• standaardwoordtarief (€0,16)
  dit tarief (op basis van een digitale telling met Microsoft Word)
  geldt wanneer er normale kantooruren wordt gewerkt.
  Voor opdrachten tot 10.000 woorden staat doorgaans 1 à 2 weken.
• kortingstarief (€ 0,12 - € 0,15)
  

  dit tarief geldt met name voor grotere opdrachten

  (meer dan 10.000 woorden) zonder spoed;

  het kortingspercentage is afhankelijk van de layout-eisen

  en de mate van eenvoudig en/of repeterend woordgebruik.

• eenheidstarief (€ 50,- / € 35,-)
  

  dit geldt voor korte standaarddocumenten met een specifieke opmaak

  (bijv. diploma's, certificaten, cijferlijsten, officiële uittreksels).

  Bij meerdere documenten, geldt de hogere prijs voor het eerste document

  en de lagere voor elk volgend document.

• minimumtarief (€ 35,-)
  

  dit is van toepassing op kleine, eenvoudige vertaalopdrachten

  (tot ca. 250 woorden).

• correctieprijs (€ 55,-/uur)
  

  de prijs voor het corrigeren van Engelse teksten wordt berekend

  op basis van het uurtarief.

  Bij de 'standaardcorrectie' ligt de correctiesnelheid doorgaans

  tussen de 500 tot 1500 woorden per uur. 

  Hierbij wordt gelet op spelling, grammatica, stijl en inhoud.

• spoedtarief (+ 50%)
  

  dit is van toepassing op de snelste leveringsoptie,

  waarbij buiten kantooruren wordt doorgewerkt

  (50% meerprijs t.o.v. het standaardtarief).

• standard word rate (€0.16)
  

  this rate (based on a digital word count by Microsoft Word)

  applies if the work is done within normal working hours.

  For assignments up to 10,000 words, this is typically 1 to 2 weeks.

• discount rate (€ 0.12 - € 0.15)
  

  this price typically applies to larger assignments

  (over 10,000 words) if no rush is required;

  the reduction percentage depends on the lay-out requirements

  as well as on the degree of simple and/or repetitive words used.

• flat rate (€ 50 / € 35)
  

  this is applicable to short standard documents with a specific lay-out

  (e.g. diplomas, certificates, lists of grades, official extracts).

  In the event of multiple documents, the higher price applies to the first document,

  and the lower price to each subsequent document.

• minimum rate (€ 35)
  

  this is applicable to small, simple translation assignments

  (up to approx. 250 words).

• revision price (€ 55/hr)
  

  the price for revising English texts is calculated

  on the basis of the hourly rate.

  For a 'standard' revision, the revision speed typically varies

  from 500 to 1500 words per hour.

  This includes a check of spelling, grammar, style, and content.

• rush rate (+ 50%)
  

  this is applicable to the fastest turnaround option,

  which may require extra work after business-hours

  (50% overtime premium as compared to the standard rate).

legalisatie- of apostille-stempel?

Voor veel officiële documenten moet de handtekening van de vertaler

met een legalisatie- of apostillestempel worden gewaarmerkt.

Kosten : EUR 17,- per legalisatie/apostille (jan. 2010).

Voor immigratielanden als Canada is een legalisatiestempel vereist.

Landen die zijn aangesloten bij het Apostilleverdrag vragen een apostillestempel.

Dit betreft bijvoorbeeld de VS, Australië en Nieuw Zeeland.

legalization- or apostille stamp?

For many official documents, the translator's signature has to be certified

by means of a legalization- or apostille stamp.

Charge : EUR 17 per legalization/apostille (Jan. 2010).

For immigration countries such as Canada, a legalization stamp is required.

Countries associated with the Apostile Treaty require an apostille stamp.

This applies to e.g. the United States, Australia, and New Zealand.
